All original vintage Yankee Yearbook with excellent content. This is the 1st yearbook ever issued by the Yankees. As sold at YANKEE STADIUM. A great comeback year for Joe DiMaggio with 32 homers and 122 RBI who led them over the Phils in the 1950 World Series sweep. There are two page spreads for Joe D., Tom Henrich, Phil Rizzuto (who would be 1950 MVP, batting .324), and Joe Page. Two page photo of entire team, 1949 World Champions. Managed by Casey Stengel, the team finished 1st at 98-56, drew 2,081,380 and went on to win the World Series. There are photos, profiles, and career records of the players and team history with photos of past great teams and players (including 1949 season and World Series highlights). Special memorials for Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Yearbook is very well planned and edited for content. The ultimate historic yearbook documenting this Baseball dynasty. This is a great piece of rare historic sports memorabilia and well worth bidding on.
