Up for auction is a Gold Tone 1980 Olympiad Contributor Medal with chain. This is in excellent condition; the metal is not worn at all and this is free of scratches, nicks and bends. These medals were awarded to a select group of people who gave generous donations to the 1980 USA Olympic team! This is a very RARE item! On one side it says USA 1980; the other size has the Roman Numerals for the year and says Olympiad USO Contributor. I do not know if this is Gold, Gold plated or what type of metal it is as I cannot see anything to indicate such on either the medal or the chain. The medal is 1-1/2" in diameter, 1/4" thick, and is on a 24" link chain; the clasp works properly.
