This plate is the Kentucky Derby winner Favorius, in 1871. This plate is a 22K  gold overlay with a fine scrolling throughout it. Made by Crest-O-Gala, Sabin. There are some age cracking on the front but it is I repeat is not all the way through. It is a surface crackling. You actually have to look through a magnifying glass to see them. Not noticeable.  Shows no ware at all and has no flea bites or chips. Take a chance on this one and if you win the bid and you are not satisfied with it I will work it out with you.
