This card was pulled from a pack but has only very minor rough-cut top and bottom edges and almost no rough-cutting on the left and right edges!!! In this auction listing, FOR COMPARISON PURPOSES ONLY, I have included a photo of the PSA 10 GEM MINT 1979-80 OPC Gretzky that actually sold for $80,000 in 2006. You be the judge! The Beckett-graded gem-mint card I am selling in this listing has 50/50 centering top to bottom and left to right, has no surface or corner flaws and it's only imperfection is minor rough-cut top and bottom edges. Rough-cut edges are the norm with these cards, as I'm sure you already know, but most OPC cards have rough cuts on all 4 edges and it is much more severe than on this card. The PSA gem mint card is slightly off-center and has more glaring rough-cut issues on its edges than the card I'm selling here. I think this BGS/BVG card is actually nicer that the PSA card that has a proven value of $80,000!!! I am selling this Beckett card for $20,000 under that price!!! This is arguably the best hockey card in history!!! I am not considering trades for this card. I have not seen any other Beckett 9.5's ever offered for sale and I am a lifelong sports card hobbyist.
