Description
For Auction: This is a Dale Earnhardt Jr. Press Pass VIP Card. This is of Dale Jr. holding up the Daytona 500 Winning Trophy. This card is the Sunday Glory card as indicated on the card. This win was on February 15, 2004 and was Dale Earnhardt Jr. first Daytona Win in the Number "8" Budweiser Car. On back of card there is a couple of pictures of Dale Jr. and indicates that Dale Jr. passed Tony Stewart that propelled him to Victory. Also indicates that this was his 10th win in NASCAR. Earnhardt Jr. also became part of the Third Father and Son combination to Win the Daytona 500, joining Lee and Richard Petty and Bobby and Davey Allison. There were only 5 cards issued by Press Pass and this is the Number "1" of 5 cards issued. There will not be another Number 8 car driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr. to win another Daytona 500. This will be his one and only win in this car and for DEI. I had this card up a couple of years ago and got hundreds of hits on this card. I also mentioned that I had talked to many dealers and collectors before I put the price up because I wanted to be fair and not gouge on this. I had tried to get this signed by Dale Earnhardt Jr. but they at DEI returned it and indicated that there was a 2 year waiting period on signing of memmorablia byDale Jr.. I had the card Graded by Beckett Grading Services and came back and surprised me at a 9.5 GEM MINT. They are not very free at Beckett at giving out 9.5 as I inquired about it. The Grading is as follows: Centering 9.5, Edges 9, Corners 9.5, Surface 9.5. The Grading Number is 0003361304 and can be found at Beckett.com, just go there and log in and go to Graded Cards and put in the number and Dale Jr. Card will come up. Population only "1" card with 9.5. As I mentioned when I had this up for auction before it is a bit pricey but that's why I talked to dealers and stores before listing it. I added these other cards that I found. They are the 2005 Press Pass Legends Previews Lee Petty which is graded a Near Mint 7.5 and Richard Petty a NM-MT 8.5, also the 2006 Press Pass Legends with Bobby Allison NM-MT 8.5 and son Davey Allison NM-MT 8.5 . These were all graded by Beckett Grading Services. I purchased all of these cards and had them graded by Beckett. There is also the Dale Earnhardt Jr. 2002 Press Pass Optima Card that was graded a Mint 9. This is the Young Guns Card. There is the Etopps cards which I also purchased from Etopps in 2003. These are and have that chrome like appearance from different views. They come in a tamper proof etopps hologram holder. I have Richard Petty,Kyle Petty, Tony Stewart and Matt Kenseth. I know this is getting a little long but the last of this is the 1990 Winston all Metal Cards Pictured are Dale Earnhardt,Davey Allison and Alan Kulwicki, there are a total of 20 cards all together. These are the J. R. Maxx Cards of 1991 as indicated on the cards. As I was cleaning things out I came across this Autrographed Picture of Dale Earnhardt Sr. I purchased this from Hammacher Schlemmer in 1995. Hammacher Schlemmer is a catalog on the high end shall we say. They have very good items. That's where I came across this Autographed Picture of Dale Earnhardt Sr.. I purchased this and waited about 3-4 months and then they refunded my money because they could not get this item. Well that was about it I thought and then one day I got this item in the UPS Delivery, opened it here this item was with COA as described in the article. I checked the return address and it was from DEI.. and that's all I ever heard from either DEI or Hammacher Schlemmer. So anyway this Autographed picture frame measures 16 1/4 x 20 1/4 and is black metal. The COA is from The Score Board and is Signed by Ken Goldin President and CEO. From what I understand Earnhardt was doing alot with this company as far as Authentication of his Autograph was concerned. You can check with Hammacher Schlemmer at Hammacher.com for any questions. I checked on ebay on Earnhardt Sr. prices and they range from $900-$1200. That's a bit pricey so I am just going to add $350 to this existing price. For anybody that is overall an Earnhardt Sr. and Jr. fan I believe a very fair deal on the price. That's all of it, as I have mentioned in some of my auctions just moving things out. Thank You for the Interest P.S. I am going to lower price for a couple of days. After that I do nor know!
