Car body is made of hard plastic and frame is metal tubing. These were put out in 2001 at local stores as promotional displays for Dales Oreo sponsored car in the Bud Shootout. These were pulled immediately after Dales untimely death. I also heard that they destroyed all the cars they were able to retrieve, leaving approximately 7 (I have not been able to confirm exactly how many are still in existence) pedal cars that they were not able to get back.  According to an Oreo rep. back in 2001, they had ordered one container (I have no clue on how many pedal cars were in a shipment container) from the Ketler comp in Germany. I understand that another company here in the United States then added the decals. I know one existed in Orlando prior to the hurricanes a few years ago, one in Jacksonville & one was listed on ebay about a year ago I think from Ohio. Someone asked nascar.com about one, but could not get an answer on value of the pedal cars since they were so rare. This pedal car has always been displayed and has never been played with.
