This match cover is in PRISTINE condition, with all matches intact, and no strike marks. The President and/or General Eisenhower’s initials appear across the front in gold color letters with a large “E” in the center of crossed golf clubs. The golf clubs are in blue. Most collectible and quite rare. As we all know, President Dwight D. Eisenhower loved the game of golf and tried to perfect it himself. He made many trips to Augusta not only to play but to watch the PGA Masters Golf Tournament. He also had his own putting green at the White House and often chipped around the White House south lawn. This particular match cover is featured in the book, “GOLF ANTIQUES & Other Treasures of the Game”, on page 231 (which we have illustrated the book cover and the matches on page 231.)
