Hall of fame jockey Chris McCarron was in the irons as John defeated Win with Majesty's Prince running third. John would go on to be the 1984 horse of the year. John won 39 out of 83 starts earning a whopping $6,591,860. He beat some nice horses including Win, Peat Moss, Gato Del Sol, and The Bart just to name a few. This 11x14 original time composite was printed on professional Kodak paper and is in excellent condition.There are a couple of blemishes and creases on this photo.
