The scarf shows churchill downs twin spires. Who the scarf was made by,  and it was Handley.  All the winners from that time frame. It gives you alot of information. The  Horse's name, The year they won the kentucky derby, If it is a colt or gelding, color and pedigree. There is only one filly that raced in this time frame and won and that was  REGRET in 1915. There are 8 Triple Crown winners on this scarf. 1919 SIR BARTON 1930 GALLANT FOX 1935 OMAHA 1937 WAR ADMIRAL 1941 WHIRLAWAY 1943 COUNT FLEET 1946 ASSAULT 1948 CITATION I thought this was a nice scarf being that eight belles came in 2nd and was wearing the number 5, so that is pretty special.  I wanted to have a picture taken of this scarf then framed so people could see my piece of history, but the man wanted 1,000.00  to take the picture then color it and frame it so i just thought i would put it in an non acid box, because he said the oils on your hands would and can ruin it. It comes in the box that is in my curio cabinet, With tissue. The scarf  alternates between gold and blue.  On an off white backround. The scarf has a navy border and off white edging.
