It is a stiff-board poster measuring approximately 14x22 inches. It's advertises a showing of the Madison Square Garden fight, taking place on March 8, 1971, and shown at the Olympic Arena in Lake Placid, NY, over closed circuit TV. The poster features a very nice vignette in oval frame of Ali and Frazier squaring off against each other. The colors are in browns and black, with red and blue printing. From top to bottom, it reads: Fight of the Champions. World Heavyweight Championship Joe Frazier vs. Muhammad Ali Madison Square Garden. March 8, 1971 Theatre Closed-Circuit TV. No Live or Delayed Home TV Olympic Arena Lake Placid N.Y. On both sides of the vignette, it reads: Madison Square Garden. In the lower left hand corner in the margin is a small oval Union symbol and the words: Murray Poster Printing Co. Inc. 521 W. 23rd St. N.Y. 10011. No markings on rear of poster.
