Titled "Nodouble", it shows the 2-time Eclipse Handicap Champion in training with Laffit Pincay up. It is signed and numbered by Fred Stone and is print # 221 out of an edition of only 500 prints. Nodouble's owner's, the Goff's of Verna Lea Farm of Fayetteville, Arkansas, privately commissioned Stone to do this piece in 1968. They took all 500 prints--only about 200 are believed to have ever been in the hands of the public, making this a rare Stone piece. AND, this one is also signed by Dash Goff, the son of Nodouble's owner! The overall size is 24" x 28", with the colored portion measuring 18" x 22". It's in mint condition; never mounted or framed. A great bonus comes with this print. It's a beautiful 24-page, 8 1/2" x 11" booklet, titled "Nodouble's Scrapbook". 20 pages are heavy stock paper with color and 4 pages are vellum(like tracing paper)with his picture and complete pedigree on them. The Goff's had this scrapbook made to honor their Champion. It's full of clips of racing articles about Nodouble's races, charts of all his big race wins, plus a Peb caricature(Peb dated this 1970, so I believe that's when the scrapbook was done). It too is in mint condition. A truly rare and unique collectible in and of itself.
